How is Real Estate doing in Palm Springs? Palm Springs is attracting the trendy population from Los Angeles and San Francisco. The price of real estate has made it possible for them to fulfill their dream of ownership.  From a "retirement and resort" community we have seen it turn into a "week end" getaway area. The old Alexander's style homes who where kind of ignored previously took a turn to being in "fashion" and change the whole map around as well as the prices of the homes. Also Palm Springs who became more "business friendly" opened doors to new communities build in various part of the city. Real estate is doing well and still affordable.

The City of Palm Springs has made tremendous efforts during the last few years to show  a more "business friendly"approach and it is working. More new subdivisions were built allowing more "full time residents" to choose Palm Springs as their retirement destination.

 Outstanding Views in Palm Springs

The beautiful, near-perfect desert climate offers a year-round respite to visitors from around the world. With only 15-20 days of rainfall per year, dry air and low humidity, there is fun in the sun by day and balmy desert evenings to enjoy to the fullest. From fall through late spring, days are warm and nights are cool. Summer days are hotter, but clean, dry air makes the higher temperature feel comfortable.

Cost of living in Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley is substantially lower than the surrounding metropolitan areas of Southern California. Major benefits are derived from cost of housing which is approximately 40% below surrounding counties of Orange, Los Angeles, and San Diego.

The Rat Pack doesn't hang out here anymore, but Palm Springs continues to offer the same great desert scenery and upscale resort atmosphere that made it famous in the first place.

Where does Palm Springs stands today as a city ? The last 5 years have shown a considerable growth for Palm Springs and the Valley (Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, Indian Wells).
